That was tough to watch. He’s obviously drunk and/or high in the video, but it takes a massive lack of self awareness to not be able to see himself as the root problem. Like you said, it’s probably an insurance thing to make sure he doesn’t kill himself while drunk or high on set doing dangerous stunts. Plus I would assume that he agreed to those terms when signing his contract.

I’m rooting for the guy but it doesn’t look like a good ending is coming for him.

This.

Jackass 3, where he kept doing the Rocky bit (ambushing people and punching them in the back of the head IIRC) was emblematic of the issue.

He did that repeatedly until finally they shoved him in a dumpster full of snakes and then cried like a bitch afterward.

Bam was coming up in skateboarding before the whole jackass thing and his mainstream fame sort of came from that. Once MTV and major companies started throwing money at him just to do dumb shite I'm sure it just went insanely overboard. He's been on a colossally expensive bender since he was a teenager basically so its not surprising that he's so bad off. Maybe he can get it together one day.

That shits sad. Obviously he needs to take responsibility for his actions but if all those rules he mentioned are the truth then it's no wonder he finally relapsed. It's a really shitty plan to try to force someone like that into sobriety by forcing a daily breathalyzer, random piss tests, and travel restrictions just so he can be in your companies movie

Yep and it's why I kind of liked the look of that season, it had a different vibe.

Yeh I mean the whole CKY thing was like their friend group that made videos I think, but he was getting coming up in the skateboarding world in the Philly area since he was pretty young. Back when Love Park and the whole East Coast thing was real big. He got on element probably around the time or just before the CKY stuff blew up IIRC. Either way, I just meant he went from being a fricked up teenager to getting millions almost overnight (albeit millions just to be fricked up lol). I don't disagree that he's a trainwreck

Exactly, he never wanted to be the butt of the joke

Also If you read some of the behind the scenes about him wanting to drink on set around a recently sober Steve-O, he sounds like a massive prick.

Haha. Forgot about him. Dude always made me laugh. I won't lie I'm 40 and still put on the old shows and 1st and 2nd movies and laugh. I'm sure I will watch 4 and laugh.

Bad Grandpa was funny to me too.

But I agree, Bam was always the worst of the bunch.
