ah, I see what you're looking at now, that was in a Navy C-130 sim that a friend took me into

I know C-130s can take off and land in relatively short distances, but I'm assuming the Navy doesn't actually launch and/or recover C-130s on their carriers, so no tailhook.

So, my questions:
Were you able to successfully simulate landing a C-130 on a carrier deck?
Would the carrier have to be making about 50 knots to take back off?

they don't but it has been done just to see if there was any feasible use for that type of operation, thet determined that there wasn't
