I watched WAFB last night and they said it would be bad at 9:00/10:00 am. I also watched the radar on tv and knew it was coming. I'm not sure where people are getting their weather info from. Accuweather radar is great too!

Another round is going to be incoming over the next few hours. The line rolling in from Lafayette looks a very healthy cell. Round 2 about 6 pm per WAFB.

There's no way the atmosphere could have recovered enough energy. Still could be a stout thunderstorm, just not the overshooting cloudtops type updrafts of this morning.

That was the only storm I've ever been through in Louisiana that reminded me of the shite that rolled through Omaha every few weeks in April-May.
