The French police will probably try to charge the Marines with battery or something; you know how much they love Americans

Actually, we're still fairly popular with the French if you get outside Paris. And the Parisians hate everybody. They don't even like themselves.

From the BBC.
There is a joke in here someplace.
"Mr Cazeneuve said he had also met French actor Jean-Hugues Anglade, who was lightly wounded when breaking glass to sound the alarm, and other passengers."

Medical teams SMUR and firefighters took over a third injured. This is the actor Jean-Hugues Anglade , who played in the morning and 37º2 Braquo series. He was slightly wounded in the hand breaking a window to pull the alarm.
I laughed reading this. Two Marines take out a gun toting towel head and this guy hurts his hand calling for help.

Great story. BTW, how has the term "active shooter" become the buzz words for shooter? Don't the words shooter and shooting imply action?

Props to those blokes stopping a massacre.
I can only hope the French ladies will show them their appreciation.

And also a US civilian. Three friends on vacation to celebrate the Guardsman's return from Afghanistan.
