I wouldn't mind settling down, but i dont see it happening until my 30s. If even then.

No man should get married before 30. Biologically he doesn't have the pressure to do so if he does want kids at some point in his life.
That's only partially true. It's fairly well known that there's a greater risk of birth defects with older mothers, but older fathers can also create some issues. Plus it's easier to chase a toddler around the house when you're in your prime.

The old adage "happy wife happy life" is true as shite. They can either make your life a living hell or heaven.

Well, that just speaks volumes, doesn't it?

Yeah, go play sports at 50 with your 10 yo kid.
Look, if you don't want to get married in your late 20s/early30s, fine.
Don't think you aren't going to look lke a grandpa with your 10yo at 50, assuming you have enough motility to get her pregnant.

Honestly, this is bullshite. It's why marriages (and men) fail.
It's her job to make me happy.

And this line of thinking isn't why marriages fail? Lol

If you get married to kiss a woman's arse (to avoid conflict) you will be miserable.
Plus, she'll eventually leave and go to a stong man anyway.

Hey, I'm 50/50.
Right on target.

Yikes. That's the kind of thing that makes me worry that I missed the boat.
I'm lucky enough to not have aged very much (I'm far from an OT baller but at least I'm frequently mistaken for late 20s/early 30s). But that's no guarantee of the future. Father Time might catch up on what he missed by the time I'm 50.

I got engaged at 28...married at 30...if I married at 24 or 25 I would surely have been divorced. GOD BLESSED ME with a tremendous wife who I did not deserve.

Just keep working out and remain active.
Run, lift a bit, just don't become sedentary.

I'm 32 TLEE. Semi-fresh out of a relationship and not in mood to get back into one.

Wouldn't it be better to pick a spouse that you can call out on their BS....and they can call you out on yours and you move past that to find a solution that makes both of you happy??

Oh, its not something that upsets me. I'm pretty apathetic to it. My job makes it difficult because i relocate every 3-5 years so its whatever.
