Congrats

Obviously some marry early and are still happy. I think too many cave into pressures to marry so young. Esp if they live in the South. They see their friends all getting married in their mid 20s and wonder if they should be getting married as well. Then add that society doesn't place as much value in marriage now. It's basically seen as something you can try on and see if it fits you, if it doesn't, oh well just get divorced.

Yeah, but you probably have an established career.

I do, as much as anyone can in this day and age. I've gotten a few raises and promotions in my current job and have a small consulting business on the side, and I have a good enough resume now that I would expect to land a solid job offer quickly if I ever need to. So there are some advantages to my current situation.

That shite doesn't bother me. That's stuff I keep in the forefront and share myself regularly. Nothing i'm embarrassed of.

Same with you fricking with me about me missing my dead dog. Com'on man you can't tip me. That just makes you look like the arse actually.

Also I've been shooting the shite with HH regularly on here for nearly a decade. Dude isn't calling me out for anything.

Oh and Ocean isn't my Pal, Chief.

Solid banter is good for the soul.

We could do like FloobyGoober and get our panties bunched when someone doesn't give us a " " back after telling them "hey"

Not to sound like Jake or the PUA goobers, but a guy's social value really does increase as he gets older and settles into a career.

Women are the inverse for the most part. And the biological clock is a real thing, so I understand their impetus there.

I think it's very smart to wait until your late 20's, early 30's before getting married. Way too many people rush into this thing which leads to high divorce rates.

Take your time with it, I never understood why people would jump into marriage. What's wrong with living with the person and dating for a while to make sure it's something worth pursuing? I dated my wife for 6 years before we got married. People would always say stupid shite like "whats taking you so long." "There has to be some issues going on." It was so ridiculous.

The only thing that scares me about marrying later(don't want to as of now but who knows) is the leftovers I'll end up with.

well society didnt' stop producing women when you were born. a great philosopher once said, "i get older, but they stay the same age"

The point of not getting married young is because chicks need to grow up. IMO

This is me right here.

I went to 3 weddings last year for people my age, I have 2 coming up this year, and I already know of 1 next year.

Meanwhile, I sit at home and play WoW.

I was scared off after dating/living with someone in my 20's for 8 years, who ballooned into a shrillish hag after we broke up.

I still shudder to think I almost married that chick.

Nah, most girls have a level head by about 27 or 28. That'll be my prime hunting grounds when I'm ready.

So true

No matter how much older I get, I'm still able to attract/pull the same quality/age woman I have always been able to pull. Just seems like now woman all the way to their 40s are more readily available as well.

I can hook up with a 20 year old one week and a 40 the next. Not uncommon.

That's what I'm saying. Most girls in that age range are scooped up from what I've seen. Maybe I just don't know enough of them
