Thanks. I'll keep that in mind.

I guess I'm lucky too though. A lot of people I went to HS and college with are showing their age (receding hairlines, gray hair, etc.)

A big positive about getting married later is that you (and she) are more financially secure. That removes a big arguing point in a lot of cases.

I don't have that advantage

Lost my shirt on a bad investment a few years ago. Got some good career experience out of it and it was the right time to roll the dice, but I don't have a nice nest egg built up.

You have also both lived on your own. I think everyone should live alone for a little bit before they marry. You learn much more about yourself and what you really like/want/etc. when you have been on your own and had to fend for yourself imo.

Maturity level
Career is usually worked out

I'd like to know what divorce rate would be if you took out the under 34 age crowd

Search "MGTOW" on Youtube - Men Go Their Own Way.

These young guys know what's going on and they don't want any part of it.

Just say "whatever you think is best honey" and you will be ok

Unless it's on something you actually care about in the planning process.

No man should get married before 30. Biologically he doesn't have the pressure to do so if he does want kids at some point in his life.

I'd say men and women both should wait until at least 30 to marry, I'm glad I waited....otherwise I would be on my second marriage right now ....but some women want large families and that might not fit into that.

You can't make black and white rules. I've been married since I was 24 and it's still going strong at 36. Both my kids will be out of the house before I'm 45.

That said, most of the people I've known to get married at that age, divorced within a few years.

I'm 27 and both my mom and grandma have casually asked about my love life recently.

I'm not making some stand or anything, but I just don't feel the need right now. I don't think I'm ready, and im focusing on other things.

I don't have the biological clock issue, and I only get more handsome and wealthier the longer I wait

I don't think I'll be married til I'm at least 35ish. I think that'll make me a better parent, too.

All of the dudes said they'd refuse to show up with their girlfriends if you were there. Said they couldn't hang with Mr. Steal Ya Girl around.

You can always get a date.

But you can't always get a date on the terms you want (or without putting in more effort than you want.)

Yeah, but you probably have an established career.

As will she, probably.
