Probably my favorite Onion article: Today’s Kids Have No Valor

quote:

My son, Unferth-the-Spirited, once sacked an entire mead-hall for a bloody boar’s head hanging from the door. This was his treasure: He wore it and became known as Unferth-the-Boar’s-Head. Where is such valor today?

Last week I spied a young man exchanging money for a Snickers bar. Money? Exchange? Where is the honor in such an act? And further, he did not even stab the cashier when he left.

The Onion was pretty good back when it could be picked up in print at all of the Stop 'N Rob's.

I loved the Onion and they were pioneers of gutting everybody.

They, like SNL, decided it was only funny to go hard after one side and it kind of lost its edge.

BB definitely leans right, no question, but they make fun of Trump and Trump worshipers with the best of them.

I personally think the Bee is most hilarious when it goes after conservatives or christians and it’s just subtle enough that your ultra conservative Christian aunt doesn’t get it and spreads it anyways.

The Onion has a way of predicting idiocracy.

Onion jumped the shark years ago...can't remember the last time I bothered to look at it.
