'Bout time Dorothy Lamour showed up.
She's an absolute peach in "The Jungle Princess" (1936).

Can you imagine the meltdown the liberal arts majors would have today if the USO sent Playboy bunnies on tours of overseas bases?
I got to see several pro football teams cheerleaders. They usually sent a small contingent.
Bunnies would be nice though.

Polly Bond, who turned down the role of Kitty on Gunsmoke b/c she felt making more money than her husband would put a strain on her new marriage. Guess it worked out for her; they were married 53 years.

Miriam Charrière, better known as Kerima (10 February 1925 – July 2014) was a French actress best known for her role in the 1951 British film Outcast of the Islands. For publicity reasons, she was portrayed as having exotic origins including claims that she was Javanese or Algerian. Outcast of the Islands was set in Indonesia and Kerima's role was that of a native girl. As she had no acting experience, her role was completely non-verbal. Had her voice been used, a French accent would have been obvious. Publicity for the film made much use of a scene that included a kiss lasting 112 seconds. This "marathon kiss" was the subject of a Life magazine cover story. Some critics considered it "shocking", and it caused "difficulty" with American censors.
