After several years of toiling in b-films, serials, 3 Stooges shorts, and westerns, Lorna Gray changed her name to Adrian Booth in the mid-1940s, hoping to get more upscale roles. Sorta worked, for a while. Talked to her at a western-film convention once, and discussed her working with Buster Keaton in one of his better Columbia comedy shorts, from 1939, called "Pest from the West."
