I think we can no longer ignore the fact women in the 1940s were more feminine, elegant, and beautiful than women of today. Their styles, their demeanor, their personality, everything about them was simply better.

Dorian Dennis (1923-1970), dancer with Minsky’s Burlesque who had a B.S. in chemistry from NYU and made $2000 a night at her peak in the 1950s.
