Again. It might have been his fault, but the confidence in your posts is unwarranted especially considering all you have is video to work off of.
If I had to guess right now I would agree but it would be just that… a guess.

Because it’s banking. To see the bomber, the pilot of the smaller plane would have to be able to see through the floor of the cockpit. From the ground we can see it clearly. But from the cockpit of the smaller plane, he can’t see the bomber. Also, the pilot of the bomber couldn’t see the smaller plane coming.
This is just a terrible accident.

There is undoubtedly a timing or altitude/altimeter error on someone’s part but yes. Everything you said is true.

That p63 pilot better have had a medical emergency. He killed a lot of people. Like how the hell do you broadside a damn bomber?
I can't believe he didn't see it. I saw the video without context and thought it an intentional kamikaze attack.

I was there with my grandson and FIL. Earlier a group that calls it Tora Tora Tora re-enacted Pearl Harbor and they had airplanes all over the sky. Opposing low
level flights, loops and a lot scattered about flying. We talked about the amount of rehearsal time they must put in.
We were in a hangar when this occurred and thankfully did not see it.
