So, you were able to turn around and get off the interstate or what?...

I-70 from Denver to Grand Junction is one of the most beautiful drives ever.

Absoluetly beautiful. Spent about 3 days in grand junction in May. Rode horses thru Glenwood canyon but that's an amazing drive

Colorado has gotten a ton of snow this year.

My brother lives in Pullman, WA. He told me yesterday they had gotten 36 inches of snow for the month of Feb. Pullman's annual snowfall for the year - 35 inches.

I heard they had to close down Squaw Valley during one storm because the lifts were under the snow.

Lot of baws up there for mardi gras.

Good thing they brought their cold weather camo.

Nothing but camo, LSU gear, and Mardi Gras beads up here this weekend

There was actually 2 yesterday. I wasn't able to make it up, but I heard it was an epic day on the hill yesterday.

What a mess. I can't count the times on a Sunday evening 70 East bound was closed due to a wreck at the mouth of one of the tunnels and the mess that makes of traffic.

I can only imagine when it is due to a slide like that...

We didn’t turn around. Don’t think you could have. We just waiting then traffic started moving again like nothing happened. Went in to Frisco for groceries and stuff then drove back. Decent amount of cars stuck on side of interstate

There’s a new video of the avalanche coming down on a car going the opposite direction. I’ll try and find it/link it. I can’t imagine.
