When I was young and mostly broke, I was in the market for a new car. Someone told me something like, “buy American and support the workers”. I said to them, “I’m going to buy a less reliable car for more money so I can make sure and pay some factory worker 100k for doing factory worker stuff while I’m basically broke, no thanks”.
I have gone on after that to buy American vehicles but it was because quality came up.

Meanwhile, Juan and his crew down in Tijuana will do it for 50% less and a 55 hour work week. Oh and as a bonus, no OSHA. Let's see which offer the auto makers accept.

The cost of their raise will be reflected in the adjusted sell price of vehicles. The average price for a standard full size truck will be $80,000 before long.

HR departments have neutered unions.
Back when a union could hold its members accountable they had some actual duties. Now they can't talk to a member without HR departments getting in the middle of it.

AND a 32 hour work week
I read somewhere that they still want to be paid for 40 hours on this 32 hour week.

Want to know why the cost of vehicles has doubled in the last 5 years, Here you go.

40% raise AND a 32 hour work week? People wonder why companies want to replace us with robots.
I assume car prices won’t be going down anytime soon

They really want to send their jobs to Mexico or Asia.

Retards want the most for nothing.

They have to ask for a lot because they don't have the dough from repeated failures trying to unionize Honda, Nissan and Toyota.

The average new car was only 24k in 2018?
Posted on 9/10/23 at 10:44 am to BigNastyTiger417
40 per cent is over four years 10 per cent per year

Yeah, that's gonna be a problem since new cars are already not affordable.
