Auto Mechanics - Electronic Throtle Control Question

Chrysler 300
A month ago I jumped off a vehicle with a dead battery at a convenience store . I then drove a short distance and the Electroic Throttle Control jagged icon came on along with check engine light. I stopped and restarted it and the ETC light did not reappear.
Since then whenever I start the vehicle after it has not run for over a few horus the ETC icon will activate after I drive exactly 1.7 miles. Happens every time. I stop and restart and it does not activate again until the vehicle has been stopped for a long time. Sometimes the check engine light activates and other times it does not.
If the vehicle is stopped for abou two hours or less it seems the ETC light does not activate, only after longer stops.
I have driven several long trips with no problem other than as described upon first starting and driving 1.7 miles.
Any great auto experts who can lend insight as to what is occurring? Is it possible this was caused by jumping off the vehicle last month? Could there have been an electrical backfeed ( for lack of a better term) or does this seem to be coincidence?

Have you unhooked the jumper cables from your battery??
That could be the issue

Man, 1.7 miles is a fricking specific number. It's 2.7 kilometers, so I got nothin'.

Yep, very weird, happens every time. No matter which direction when I leave my house I know exactly when it will activate.
Just wonder if this is just a false alarm or indicative of something more significant.

I don't have any specific experience with that, but the next thing you should do is take the relay out for at least 10 minutes. Also check to see if there is a similar relay that you can substitute. Be careful if drive it that way, but there should be a relay you can experiment with. Also post your question to an automotive message board. They have some real pros on some of them.
Jumping off probably damaged something, even if you jumped it mostly correctly. This is one reason to always put the black cable on a grounding source and not the negative terminal.

I am guessing 1.7 miles is how long the systems needs to calibrate itself and that is when it triggers the warning.
Why after only being off for an extended period, I don't know but it may be how long it takes for residual voltage to drain from the ecm?
Perhaps a fuse for a circuit that powers the ecm when the key is off?
Try leaving the ignition on for a few hours and see it it still happens.
Bring it to AutoZone and see if there are any codes stored.

Michael Scott’s Sebring convertible is even preferable to FIVE in-a-row 300s.
tl/dr: You’ve got bigger problems than an idiot light coming on at 1.7 miles.

I am 6'4 and I prefer the extra room than to be squeezed into a smaller car like a Sebring. Its a very comfortable fit for me as opposed to the years I drove smaller Ford company cars and always had a sore back. I buy them several years old and drive them until they drop. Usually get about 200,000 miles out of them without a lot of maintenace costs. Its not about style points for me, its all about comfort.

I see why you came here. Google isn't much help on this issue.
I'll look again later, since you looked out for dead battery guy, but it sounds like you'll be taking it to the dealer for this diagnosis. :(
Eta: most people are either messing with the wires on the throttle body (etc built into on most cars) or taking it to the dealer
