I, for one, get completely involved in my work...and it's not an environment conducive for meeting ppl IMO. I like to keep my work and personal life separate.

Most men over 30, with good careers, a home, other property, and are decent looking don't have to settle down with women to get sex and companionship from women anymore. Women, through feminism made this a man's game. Also, women fail to understand that as both sexes age men typically have more to offer where as women don't.

It's why our mothers, grandmothers, aunts, uncles, friends, cousins, and the pool guy tell us "you're not getting any younger" starting at about 16 and then badger the ever loving frick out of us to get married before 25. After all, once your first husband trades you in for a younger model at about 35, you'll still have a little bit of your looks left so you can marry again

The crazy rule for cats is as follows:

My wife is 40, and has a ton of hot friends in her 30s that have never been married. Sure some of them are crazy, but most are normal.
Its pretty hard for a successful career woman to find a man, or that is what her friends tell me. They want a guy with a good job, and isn't a neanderthal when it comes to woman roles. And of course, isn't married.
The issue is that most of these guys are already married by the age of 35. Some fine piece of arse locked him down in his late 20's, when he started making bank

1. It's normal for guys to date younger women, but younger guys rarely want an older woman. This means that the older a woman gets, the fewer women are available to them with the inverse being true for men.
2. These women have high standards. The number of men who will meet them at that age will be tough to find if they aren't in the right social circle, especially if they want one with no kids.
