Dozens of lawyers, court officers and clerks crowded onto the wooden benches in Judge Johnny Lee Baynes’ courtroom on March 12 as they waited for the judge to hear cases at his calendar call, the busiest day of his week.

When one lawyer complained that social distancing guidelines weren’t being followed in the jam-packed Brooklyn Supreme Court courtroom, Baynes fired back. “If you don’t like it, you can leave,” the lawyer recalled Baynes telling her.

It was his last appearance on the bench. Two weeks later, the judge was dead of complications related to coronavirus.

There’s a second member from the church that has it too. A young white lady.
She was a church member here before the big crowd gatherings started.

"I went to Albertson's twice a day. I went to Sam's. I went to Walmart. I went to Lowe's. I used the gas pumps. I mean I just wasn't careful."

Matthew 4:7 - Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

Showing up at a church service to show off your belief that God will protect you from an incredibly contagious virus is a direct violation of that edict.

A better preacher would have known that.
