It's like all you asshats are defending the criminals actions instead of people visiting and giving money back to the city. The inmates are running the asylum and y'all just shrug and say "it's your fault." How friggin backwards is that shite?!

In all honesty, you should drive to the nearest NOPD precinct and have them hand deliver you a report and make sure they do their job and list the firearm as now stolen. Don’t wait for that shitshow of a police department to call you, because they won’t. The more time that goes by, means these tPOS assholes have time to commit a violent crime with your gun.

It does…..absolutely terrible. Residents of the entire area should be calling, emailing the city council/mayors office and demand for this shite to stop. It affects all of us, it lowers our property value, incentivizes companies to leave, the animals sometimes cross the parish line.
It should start with ridding poydras street of the damn flea market that has been popping up on poydras during the saints games. If I owned a business along there I’d be raising holy hell. Also why not have patrols during sporting events?

We're already on the way back to Mississippi. I spoke to an officer on the scene but he gave me some bs about him not being able to write a report because he was on overtime. He told me that an officer would come by to take a report. We waited over an hour and I finally called the PD. The lady already knew my name and information and told me an officer was not coming but they would reach out to me by phone to take the report.

it's getting bad in all the leftist cities in this country, san francisco is so bad people leave their trunks open with no valuables in the vehicle so their windows won't be smashed

A few yrs ago I would have never considered moving anywhere else, but this shite is getting ridiculous and I don’t even live in the dump of a city.

I don't think they're excusing the criminal's actions. I just think people are trying to tell you secure your guns. Putting a gun in a locked center console isn't securing your gun.

Would his car insurance give him money for lost property inside the car?
