I can’t see this family responding in that way. They also have 2 young men who are grieving their sister and need them.

I can’t imagine their grief.

Yes. Their “village” is surely feeling this weight of this loss. I can’t imagine this happening to one of the kids in my “village” who I’ve watched grow up alongside my son. A lifetime of carpools, classes, sports teams, dances, friendships for those kids.

Understood and agreed. However, there needs to be some time to grieve in peace before taking on that challenge and only if THEY choose to do so.

Show me alcohol related deaths vs marijuana. It's ok not to be smart man. Not everyone can be born outside Louisiana.

Maybe find another thread to argue marijuana won’t impact a person’s ability to drive? This one is about a very loved young lady who was killed by someone under the influence of alcohol and drugs.

It’s because alcohol is legal and marijuana isn’t. Alcohol usage is astronomically higher than marijuana for that reason...even in states where marijuana is legal. And the fact that the rate is lower doesn’t mean it isn’t a problem or is somehow ok for people to drive on. I don’t know how that’s so hard to understand.

This one is about the town I was born in and currently live in. I also just happened to be there when this dumbass kid was arrested. I think I'll stay.

I'm probably the biggest pothead on TD.

And I do believe that Marijuana can absolutely effect a persons driving. Different from alcohol yes, but still has its effects.

What am I missing? I haven’t found fault with the police department. When he was released on bail, they charged him with illegal possession of a weapon and something else. He’s in jail because they cared.

Cocaine and Xanax together seems very counterproductive.
