This is horrible. I mentioned earlier in this thread that I know the guy and have been around him plenty of times as we used to have the some of the same friends. I would have NEVER thought that he would be capable of something like this. He was one of the nicest guys you would ever come across and from what I had heard from friends, he and his wife tried a long time to have this child.
I hate this and I hate it for the entire family. If this is all true then wow. I'm speechless at the new findings.

I am waiting to see what the coroner says... the only thing that really makes sense at this point is that the kid died before the whole car thing and this is a coverup.

Where would the coverup be? He took his kid to CFA on the way to work. Unless the kid choked on his breakfast or the dad lost his temper and hit him too hard he apparently just left him in the car.

% Chance the mother was in on this in some way?
Posted on 6/25/14 at 12:05 pm to hiltacular
I wonder if for some reason he did not drop the kid off for daycare and thought it would be okay to leave him in the car all day. This whole story gets stranger by the day.

Dont think she was, but what are the chances tehy were having some marital issues and he did this to the kid to hurt the mother? Maybe he found out the kid isnt his? Has the mother mad any statements yet?

Kid could have appeared sleeping in his car seat at CFA... the details of the CFA visit are still up in the air. This would depend on someone from CFA confirming if the kid was alive or not and if he was interacting with the dad.
I personally think the kid was dead and he propped him in the carseat (appears sleeping) then drove to CFA (alibi maybe?).
Just me speculating, this makes more sense then accidentally leaving him in the car imo.

You know what I am going to do here buddy?
I am going to agree with you and levy a personal penalty for making such an ignorant assumption. I made that assumption based only on the incidents I recall through the years being covered in the Atlanta area. The few I recall involved trashy , drug addicted parents. I should not assume that the average of 38 a year across the nation involve those kind of people. So yes, I agree that it was an ignorant statement.
I stand by everything else I said. The odds of it happening to someone are less than the odds of that same person being struck and killed by lightening(58 deaths per year.) There are roughly 320 million people in the US. The <5 bracket makes up about 8.5% of that population. Guessing about 15 million or so are aged 1-3. If every kid that age rode in a car just once a day....that is 5.4 billion opportunities a year for this tragedy. Some might say "well, there would be some children who didn't ride in a car everyday". That is true, but just off set by those who rode 2 or 3 or more a day. Those numbers don't lead me to sound the alarm "it can happen to anybody!"

I was just at the Akers Mill shopping center picking up lunch and the news vans are starting to roll in.

Oh, and for the people who sent letters to he police and donated to help him out, this also kinda sucks.
After what happened in Jackson and now this, maybe people will wait to see if something is legit before running to donate to stuff...

I've heard stories from Dr's to the poorest of the poor doing this. Great parents and shitty ones........when you break routine things get messed up. It's a big time fear with me.....how many times i've zoned out and taken a road and ended almost home when I needed to go somewhere else. We are creatures of habit. They fall asleep and you go to work....damn i wouldn't want to go on.

This whole story makes my heart ache. However I know when the official time of death comes out, I'll feel even more sick.

The daycare was right next to his office. The only break in his routine was murdering his child.

I'm gonna go on record as saying I am not condemning this man as a murderer based upon a tweet of hearsay.
I'll wait till the info is released by the proper authorities.
