Yall do realize the ATF didn't have anything to do with that deal after the first initial shootout? It was the FBI that showed up, took over, handled the long stand off and eventually initiated the final confrontation that resulted in all the deaths. FBI doesn't talk about it and likes that people blame the ATF for that event.

Of course. But as you said the ATF started the initial bloodshed. That’s why this is in bad taste. I lumped it in cause both are federal agencies. Sorry about that

This is the same as all no knock warrents. They put undue risk on the teams that serve them.

While we share many of the same sentiments, if you think “knock warrants” are more safe for everyone involved than “no knock warrants” you have no idea what you’re talking about.

A search warrant that was filled with lies of drug labs they knew didn't exist and other shite. Oh, they also lied to the governor of Texas to get helicopters. Fun times ATF, fun times.

I remember Prez Bush SR called the ATF a bunch of jack booted thugs.

That made me smile.

ummmm you do realiz that the whole basis of no knock warrents came about because of drug cases and wanting to preserve evidence....has nothing to do with safety.

Are you telling me its safier to send a army of men into a house unannounced vs doing a simple traffic stop our catching the suspect somewhere out and about? Because its not.

No knock warrants are much more dangerous. Anyone with a little sense and a weapon is going to defend their home when someone breaks in unannounced. In that situation, cops and criminals have no differences other than a shite stain judge saying its OK.

Wut? He left the NRA because they used that language to describe federal agents.
