Don't frick around with your sobriety. I can promise you nobody gives a frick about what you are drinking especially if you are eating alone at the bar. I do it all the time when I am out of town for work and 90% of the time I am drinking water, tea, or a soft drink.

He ended up quasi quitting. We had an HR type meeting and put him on a PIP. I never told him my thoughts, but offered help. His calling in sick increased and it played itself out. Hope he got some help or is in a better place.
