Internet and TV down all day. Cell service poor as hell from normally good areas, and are we to think it’s because of this strike? So the techs don’t wanna run around repairing stuff anymore for same contract price, and all of a sudden all the AT&T equip stops working? Get your shite together and get the switch turned back on dillholes

I cancelled DirecTV earlier this year, in the last year months they've called me 6 times to offer me some bullshite. I actually yelled at the representative the other day.

There is a reason they try and point out how much better they are than Sprint

I do have AT&T for cable and internet and have had a down cable box since last week. They are coming out tomorrow to fix it

I am absolutely convinced that AT&T’s customer service representatives are trained to exhaust the consumer. They transfer from department to department in an attempt to get the consumer to hang up and, thus, continue their crappy service. I think the technique actually works.

When I moved into my current complex on the Northshore they didn't tell me that the only cable/internet provider allowed was ATT. Charter is everywhere around here and who I planned on using. After having ATT for internet for the past six months or so I can confirm, ATT fricking sucks. I miss my Cox internet service badly now.

I had to go help my godmother fix her internet this afternoon. After 40 minutes on the phone with a foreign woman who was rude, and would stop me in the middle of sentences, we finally got to the root of the problem.

She informed me we could stay on the phone while she reset everything remotely, or she could send me step by step directions to do it myself. She told me it would be upwards of 15 minutes for her to do it.

I chose to make her do it because my experience was so poor, so screw her I'll make her spend another 15 minutes doijt her job. She was not happy with my choice. Of course 2 minutes into it she needs to send out a tech.. Which won't come until Sunday.

I haven’t had NBC for 2 months now since AT&T and Nexstar are in a squabble.

Mrs M. sent me a link to an article confirming to a large extent what you've observed. Quite literally you've been profiled as to how much you'll take before being pushed to the point of canceling service-at which time you're handed off to a "retention" supervisor or specialist. Cambridge Analytics type stuff.

I work in IT for a large company and AT&T is the bane of my existence. They've been dealing with a massive network outage this week that is affecting cellular, internet and telephone service for lots of Louisiana and Florida. Couple that with the fact that they have over 20000 employees on strike right now throughout the Southwest, so they're also crippled from a support/engineering standpoint, and you have a recipe for disaster.
