Arrive at 8:25. Make coffee in my office. Pour cup. Drink first cup by 9.

Finsih all work by 9.

Harrass support staff until 3. Expect everyone to do busy work from 3-6.

I check out the second I go back to work after lunch. I'm pretty much useless.

I'm a pipefitter that works routine maintenance at a local plant. Our normal workday is from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. I would say around 2:30 we head back to the shop put up the tools clean up and go home. When I go through the turnstile I click out.

Depends if my father-in-law shows up to the office or not. If he does then I have zero fricks to give for the rest of the day. He’s one of those glass half empty, sky is falling mfers.

I am fortunate to have a job where I go to work, get what I need done, and go home when the day's work is completed.

I could never go back to the mind-numbing boredom of being stuck in a chair with no work to do because some old fogie believes your worth is only measured by hours that your arse is in the seat.

Depends on what’s going on honestly. If it’s important I can be locked in from 7 a.m. till 8 or 9 p.m for multiple days in a row. Then there’s days where I know are going to be boring and I show up looking for ways to dick off all day.

Thanks for beginning your statement with “I’m an engineer”

There’s no way we could have understood if you didn’t let us all know you’re an engineer.
