At what age does a woman become a cougar?

Friends I was out with all disagreed, I say 40's, is there a "typical" number here? Does it depend on age of the guy she is with (35 with 20 versus 45 with 30?)

Depends a lot on your age, a 40 yo to someone in their mid 30's isn't really a cougar.

When she starts running down guys young enough to be her kid. For example some woman who got knocked up at 16 is now 34 but getting nailed by her 18 year old son's friends is a cougar.

Once they are old enough to have teenage children, they become cougars. Not knocked up in high school, but legit teenagers. So, right about 40.

The answer is simple:
When there is a 10 year or more age gap when the guy is in his 20s
When there is a 15 year or more age gap when the guy is in his 30s
When there is a 10 year or more age gap when the guy is in his 20s
When there is a 15 year or more age gap when the guy is in his 30s

I live in a city with a very high cougar population....I've had this discussion with a couple cougars.
