re: At what age did you stop getting excited about your birthday?

31 and still love forcing all my good friends to a boozy dinner. I don’t want cake or singing or presents. But I will use it to get everyone together to get drunk like we’re 23 again.

I would say about 13.

Same for me. My dad took a group of my friends to a wrasslin' match. After that age it was maybe go out to dinner or something.

Same again. I've never cared to make a big deal about things and try to put myself at the center of attention. I used to date a girl who was the opposite and celebrated her birthday month. You can guess how that relationship worked out.

I was excited to turn 25 bc my car insurance would drop. And then I got in a wreck a week later and it went up again. Sad.

22. Never been a big fan, but now I actively hate my birthday.

30 turned 36 yesterday

I still celebrate it, but I don’t make a big hoorah about it. A good meal, beer, cigar and sex is pretty much all I want.

I am mid 50's and since people my age started dying with some regularity I am just glad to have another one.
