I don’t know if these old bones could survive that anymore, highly doubtful I could go down the rope
I’d rather just jump and hope for the best than fall down and break my neck trying to use the escape rope.

My cool story bawette of the day.
When I had to travel with a football team to play Boise State, we got diverted flying out because there was a snowstorm over Boise. We landed about 50 miles outside of the city on some small strip with no “terminal”. They put us on buses to drive in but we had to walk across the tarmac with a couple feet of snow on the ground. It suuucckked.

I would have been fricked. I never bring a jacket on board, no matter where I'm going or when. And I'd be in shorts.

There were at least a few bubbas on that plane wearing shorts and a t-shirt, no doubt.

Lucky it was yesterday morning and not today. You wouldn’t have flown anywhere today.

Not sure they ever learned their lesson quite in this manner, but they grew to understand that standing by a vehicle, in shite weather because of a wreck or fire, is made a lot worse if you were in pajamas and flip flops.

Hate to see that happen and have to deploy the inflatables, but on the good side of things, at least you escaped Baltimore and made it to the ATL.
Glad you made it safely.

Yeah that’ll do it.

I try to be a sliver linings guy as much as I can but I'd rather have an engine fire on the tarmac than 30,000 feet above the ground.

I’m still stuck in Baltimore.

Company’s gonna owe me some money though.
