Ding ding we have a winner drivers will kill many times more people in the us in the next 12 hours than fire works will

What is the freaking big deal about kids, and families, shooting fireworks if it's legal to do so a couple night max per year (even if it's not legal). Jeeze Louis you are some uptight pricks. Did mommy and daddy not take you to the fireworks stand as a kid, and now this is your revenge. Staging areas, watch shifts & M4's? Good lord there's better crap to worry about. Goofy tards.

Yeah we've met at one of the tailgates several years ago.

My little girl doesn't sleep til almost 10 on; tonight she's finally out at 1:03 am.

I love my daughter more than anything in this world.

These fricks are shooting the big arse fireworks right outside my fricking house it sounds like I'm back at FOB Shank. These Motherfrickers want a warzone I'm about to Patrol the neighborhood with my fricking M4. It's a class A misdemeanor in Round Rock to possess fireworks.

It's NYE, you're in a safe place I assume. The noises aren't threats. When they breach your door, it's a threat. Just ignore it.

They are just celebrating Marco's 2020 nomination. You should be out there lighting those fireworks for them.

The only way you can justify being upset about this is if you have a baby or toddler you are trying to put down to sleep.

Those lashing out at OP are clearly without young kids or animals that are affected. Lots of Internet tough guys with zero maturity or responsibility.

I can relate, OP, and glad the night is over and we can now enjoy a peaceful day. Fireworks are awesome, but should not be allowed in residential areas other than sparklers and such. Disturbs too many people that actually have lives

I'm with the OP. I grew up shooting fireworks,in a neighborhood, but we never did all of the artillery shells and other obnoxiously loud stuff. Jumping jacks, sparklers, and maybe for the big finale some whistling kitty chasers lol. I live in a newer subdivision with smaller lots, and it sounded like WWIII all night.

I have 3 kids under 6. They all went to bed between 8-9 and slept through "WWIII" last night. Not sure what the problem is.

If you don't want to deal with occasional noise like last night, you need to live farther than 8 feet away from your nearest neighbor. Otherwise, like I do every year, just deal with it.

Wow you are just so much more mentally tough than others. We are so weak for complaining.

Have some empathy, jackass. And if your kids slept it obviously wasn't as bad as in some places

oh, I do. I feel for your kids that they have you as a parent. The biggest thing you can pass on to your really young kids is flexibility. And you and your kind are showing zero. Figure it out.

When your kids wake up, wrap them in a huge blanket and bring them outside and enjoy watching someone else blow up hundreds of dollars. Make memories, don't be miserable.
