D-Day Museum is a must see but it takes more than one day to properly see it.

World War II museum is world class, run by the Smithsonian, now, it ranks in the top 20 worldwide, easily.

Yep.
And I'm always telling my friends and family that have kids who come in that City Park can damn near fill up a day and will be even better when the new Children's Museum opens this fall.

They probably don’t have enough strip malls and chain restaurants for an Aggie fan, and hell, no cow tipping either. Might as well stay home.

New Orleanians are in denial about why people actually visit this city.
They think it's because of art, "culture", food, music and their charming little colloquialisms like "cut the grass instead "mow the lawn". Or "making groceries" instead of "grocery shopping". They're really proud of those trite little sayings. They point them out often.
But the fact of the matter is tourists come to New Orleans, because like most Carribean countries which new Orleans identifies with, there are very easy attitudes about drinking and drug use.
People come here not because of French quarter jazz or that annoying zydeco. They come here so they can get fricked up without being fricked with. That's it, that's all.
New Orleans really has no other outside appeal. It's sad.

There's actually more attempted murders than actual murders..so thats a good thing
You have a better chance of surviving a murder than actually dying from one

Have you ever thought to yourself: "Self, different people visit cities for different reasons."

You come off as someone in complete denial. Although locals know there is much more to the city, outsiders dont and are there for said reasons stated above

I say "cut the grass" instead of "mow the lawn" and I'm not from Nola
