I told everyone on the Poliboard that Matassa was crooked to the bone, just like Tommy. That's why St. Amant tried so hard to get some new blood in their with Cointmont to break up the old D-Ville cartel. It's a shame that crook won by just a few dozen votes.

The Parish President was bribed by a large developer to fire the development coordinator for the parish, and then bragged about it. They know he gave at least $500, but possibly as much as $70k. That would be like if Goldman Sachs gave Obama $5 million to fire the head of the SEC who was investigating them and replace him with a Goldman Sachs executive.
