This makes me miss Port Royal. We would crock pot it up nightly in there. They crock pot buffet on league nights at The Jefferson.

I can tell you where NOT to ever eat — Bayou Billiards. Trust me.

Pimp - Jones calls Radio Bar “Try Hard Bar”. He hates the patrons.

Hi neighbor. Ever been to The Book Store off Airline?

Pam's gonna call me a dipshit. I totally whiffed there too. I blame the LSU game last night.

Bookstore is close to OP too. Good bar and cocktails.

BINGO! frick that place. I like Dave but I'd go support Mid-City Beer Garden every day over Radio.

My gripe was that it’s called Radio Bar because it was created to be basically a live jukebox. Yet their music is at a volume where you can’t figure out what song is on.

It drives me insane.

They were psychotic during Covid

The first time I went there was.. I think the first time they dialed back the mask restrictions. All of the employees had mask on, but not many customers had mask on. Its located right around the corner from the girl who cuts my hair so after going the first time, I went back two other times after getting a haircut and the last time the employees were not wearing mask.

This might sound weird, but you know how some places are just better to go to for certain things? What I mean is.. You might really enjoy going to one place to watch football because you like the environment, etc..

For some reason, Beer Garden is a place that the last two times I went, it became my ideal spot to watch college basketball. And while I know its not for everyone, I like to see the people come in with their dogs. And I get jealous because I wish I could bring my dogs in public and they would act normal. They are used to a more "country" life where when they go outside they run around at will chasing shite and rough housing with each other..

LOL. Hard same. My dog is a neurotic weirdo.

I used to go to Beer Garden almost daily because my best friend worked there. But it’s just not in the rotation anymore. So far away! I’m weird about leaving my zip code.
