The media and Hollywood openly HATES you and is doing everything in their power to demonize you and encourage everyone to support the hate as well.

How does that type of discrimination feel?

As a straight while male in his twenties, who's a big fan of Kendrick Lamar, I thought the CFPCG halftime show was pretty weak. It was outside the venue, in the cold, and fifteen minutes long. Plus, outdoor rap concerts are usually terrible. If you're going to judge Kendrick on nothing else other than that individual experience, then you'd probably be wrong to assume he's not appealing to my demographic.

Rap isn’t music.

It’s like someone is reading a Dr. Seuss book really fast or something.

thought the halftime show was pretty shitty but that's because rap doesn't sound good live.
I mentioned this in a thread Monday night, that most new rap doesn't sound good live. The ones that do, usually perform with a live band that turns their instrumentals into versions that can be played by bands.

One of the better concerts I've seen was a Bone Thugs n Harmony concert about 10 years ago and they performed with a band. It was great.

And I've seen all kinds of bands perform. I'm 31, but have been lucky enough to go to concerts all over and saw some legendary old rock bands, newer rock, old hip hop/rap and newer ones, older country bands (not a huge country fan, so didn't attend any of the horrible new style country concerts) and hell, even some EDM shite, which really isn't my thing.

They could have pulled any random black dude out of the audience and had him read the lyrics, and I probably wouldn’t have noticed much of a difference.
