To address the OP, the guy who wrote that article sounds like an a-hole who is trying to get brownie points for not being an a-hole. I've been with my SO for a decade and a half. Never, not once, have I ever slammed my fist down on a table during an argument with her. Or, frankly, anyone else. That kind of behavior isn't indicative of masculinity; it's indicative of losing control, which isn't appropriate for either sex. I've never lied to her to manipulate her, etc, etc.
Now, I will logic her to death in an argument. And in years past, she would complain about that, saying that I should "respect her feelings". I told her that if she couldn't handle that, she could kick rocks. And for the most part, our arguments are now far more constructive than they otherwise would be.

I'd also like to see a reconciliation of patriarchy/toxic masculinity vs. gender fluidity.

I agree the "slammed my fist down" comment made me raise an eye. THAT is toxic

Dude. So spot on. Per usual.

True. If a woman to man tranny becomes toxic, where to I apply muh triggers?

In summation....women should start doing everything I'm telling men to stop doing

Berg is a victim of domestic violence so we need to be mindful

Yeah that 4th wave stuff is the antithesis of what feminist of old had hoped for

Things were easier with my generation. My generation struggles less with our wives about this divisive, manufactured Progressive sexual politics crap than we do with our co-workers and God forbid, daughters. Man-hate is just part of the Zeitgeist now, probably like misogyny was 100 years ago ( or whenever ).

Ist wave - gender equity.
4th wave- psychological projection and hysterical hatred of men/masculinity to make depressed and angry women feel better about their morbid obesity and dwindling prospects.

The dangerous part of the 4th-wave feminism is that while people pushing it might be projecting and nonsensical, there are women who latch onto it in order to convince themselves that they are evolving to be more sympathetic to victims and that the mindset will more robustly inform their future decisions to be more inclusive, understanding, etc.
I still maintain, though, that the majority of women are hesitant to jump onboard with this ideology and see the glaringly obvious flaws in its structure.

The biggest component to 4th wave is "defending marginized groups". So, in order to maintain their piousness, they have to create new groups to "protect". This inevitably leads to turning former "allies" into a new enemy over nothing more than existing.

Cisgendered is a trigger word. It means too many words not enough thought.
