I had an office manager and have an aunt who love to complain about things (especially food) in order to get refunds, gift cards back, or whatever. These are old white women. So, this type of behavior is not exclusive to race. But, I don't think they would ever try to put on a show like this or pull that type of move in a place as nice as this.
