If I were king, I would make high speed chases illegal unless the person was suspected of a violent felony.

A few things. The pit came after the driver went head on into traffic and the supervisor ordered the pursing vehicle to stop asap.
I don't get why police cars don't have one of two things.
A projectile which shoots a device that shorts out a cars computer.
Or a projectile with a GPS tracker in it.

If the policy was to shoot every driver that flees from a helicopter, it would only have to be shown a few times on the news before most of these idiots decided not to run. Would love to see it.

That is the dumbest thing I have ever read. Criminals always leave the correct plates on vehicles and never swap them. Also I forgot where you live there must be a bunch of police helicopters flying around at all times just for this case.

Its really funny when a lot of people who have no idea wtf they are talking about, nor have ever done anything like what officers face daily, tell everyone how it should have been done. Lmao. Its a microcosm of society as a whole. Its like whatever shitty as job yall have, i go in there and tell you how it should be done and dont know a got damn thing on what your doing or why. At the point where the idiot is endangering others lives with his driving he needs to be taken out. They should have shot out hit tires or used rumble strip on the interstate and ended it earlier.
