Talk about a crappy way to go

quote:

The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission said a hunter was killed by the deer he shot. “I’ve worked for the Game and Fish Commission for 20 years, and it’s one of the stranger things that’s happened," said Keith Stephens, the Chief of Communications with the agency.
quote:

Officials said 66-year-old Thomas Alexander shot a buck with a muzzleloader while hunting near Yellville. “I don’t know how long he left it there, but he went up to check it to make sure it was dead and evidently it wasn’t," Stephens said.
quote:

Stephens said that is when the deer attacked. “It got back up and he had several puncture wounds on his body," he said.
quote:

The agency reported Alexander was by himself but able to call his family, who called emergency responders. He later passed away at the hospital.
quote:

The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission said it is unclear whether Alexander died from those puncture wounds, or from another cause, like a heart attack.

shame on you for shooting a 3-point (assuming he wasn't diseased/deformed looking).

Back in the day we were lucky to see a horn, letting one walk was unheard of

I'd have been laughed out of camp

I'd rather a deer try and kill me than try to frick me.

When I was around 11-12 my cousin and I were riding in the back of my grandad's truck with a buck my uncle shot through the neck with a .270. We're riding down the road and that bastard starts standing up and trying to get out of the bed of the truck and bucking around everywhere. We startled banging and crawling on top of the truck to get away from him. My grandad put 2 behind his ear with a .22 pistol when we got to his house, and it still didn't die until his throat was cut
