Ark Encounter in Kentucky (mostly not travel-related)

Mother-in-law wants to take the kids to the Ark Encounter in Kentucky. I hadn't really ever looked into it, so I checked out photos... apparently they claim that Noah had dinosaurs on board the boat? I...just...can't.
Has anyone here been to this attraction?

Only the dumbest of my family members have gone. One of them has told us it's the end of the world on 3 different occasions
