Family friend is a teacher in the greater Phoenix area and is pretty liberal but got tired of the immigrant kids doing shite like rifiling through her purse.
I mean, I live in Atlanta and don't say this type of shite about other contingents even when said contingent commits about 99% of the violent crime around here
When you're around and familiar with a particular group, you tend to see both the worst and some of the best elements in it, which, for normal people, keeps you from becoming totally bigoted

Years back was at a large Thanksgiving dinner south of Tucson, AZ. Illegal immigration and the border soon came up and the group was discussing options for the problem. One of the guys at the table just casually stated: "We should just put towers on the border and guys with sniper rifles. Sure we would have to kill a bunch the first couple of weeks but things would resolve pretty quickly after that."
The thing is, the guy wasn't trying to be funny. He was stone serious. The conversation stopped after that one. I am against illegal immigration but who really wants to shoot people over it?
