Casinos haven't opened yet, at least until Monday so they have no reason to until then

If you’ve ever cruised the slots, you see a lot of walkers and motorized scooters. I have to imagine that most of their local clientele are the very high-risk demographic. Harrah’s may view it as their best interest not to put their them at risk of exposure.

Ya'll all keep stating stuff like this, but I hope you realize those bodies(or the bones) aren't coming out and never were until the demolition activities gets to them.
But I agree, this has been a cluster and embarrassment for the city overall.

That was like 30 years ago so it has nothing to do with any actions they take now.
Seems like a normal minded city mayor would want to be as nice as possible to Harrahs since they were planning to do some big expansion with another hotel and fixing up some other things related to the property.
That's all probably not going to happen anytime soon though.

EXACTLY!!
If the NOFD can rent a 145' manlift and a 150' crane truck to remove the Robert E Lee Statue in broad daylight in front of thousands of people, and on national TV....
there's no reason why they couldn't remove those bodies in a safe manner.

Seems kind of pointless to spend money on a law suit against the city that allows you to operate over a month of 50% operating capacity

Didnt they pass something recently allowing other land based casinos? Thought I remember seeing something about treasure chest renovating because of this.
