Noticed this AM when I was searching for nearby restaurants that today (June 20) is actually Juneteenth (observed). How good is that? Helluva deal if you can get your employer to go along. Either a 3 or 4 day weekend.

The ironic part of Juneteenth is that it is mostly white people that get off for it and not blacks. Only white collar jobs get off for it. Like my company has 35 people in it and 0 are black, and we get off, but McDonalds and Burger King still operate on Juneteenth. Very ironic.
