Yes, especially if you get the Night Edition.

We can't conclude you are a douche simply because you drive a jeep.

If, however, you have an angry eyes/grille mod, then it's pretty safe to say.

ever think they just want more room?

Not saying it matters what someone drives, but the irony is that there is more interior room in an F150 (but you can't get a supercrew + 8' bed in an F150)

What about us $500k millionaires? Is it okay for us to buy one? Need your approval before I put in an order.

I'm old enough to remember the days before Super Duty or HD pickup trucks. People pulled their larger stuff around just fine then. It is a fact that these gigantic trucks are unnecessary in about 95% of tasks.

I think it really sucks that all the major manufacturers are basically copies of each other. Honestly, from 100ft away you cant tell the difference between any truck model.

I could differentiate all of the truck models from 100 yards. The F150 is traditional, Silverado is more gnarly, Ram is maybe smoothest/most elegant, Titan is a mistake and the (new) Tundra is fugly.

I'm on my way to the dealership to sign a zero down, 12.99% interest, 96 month note.

Need it a month from now when I will be transporting a bag of mulch.
so i assume you are driving a early 90's used toyota corolla or honda civic, because thats all you need to drive to and from work... right?

So pre 1970?

3/4 tons for consumer markets have been pretty common since the 70s

My dad had a 3/4 ton most of his life until he got out of having cattle

got to remember though stout, many on here think its a good financial decision to pay cash for something over a 96month 1.9% interest loan. Pretty clear you arent talking to the guys with the highest IQs.

While this is true to an extent, it is not a good financial decision to take out a 96 month note for a vehicle. If it costs so much that you need 96 months to afford it, then even at 1.9% interest, you will still end up paying a hefty amount of interest.

Ram is the best looking by far IMO. I'm very impressed with them lately. They've upped their game in the last few years in a huge way in quality and styling. This is probably the one I'd buy right now unless I was near a really good GMC dealership.

The GMC looks really good, but it's still more angular and awkward from some angles than the Ram. I really like the huge strides that GMC made on the interior and their new AT4x models have some class-exclusive off road hardware that will sell to a niche market. And I think the Denali Ultimate might have the nicest interior of any half ton, but I prefer the landscape oriented screens to the portrait ones in the Ram. I also really like the V8 powertrains in the GMC.

Ford, Chevy, and Toyota all seem to be cartoonish by comparison. And they get more weird looking every generation. I know the Tundra is a good truck but it's the most strange looking by far. The others look so much better, especially the Ram and GMC.

Frankly I'm surprised that the Nissan Titan is still around. They just aren't really trying. I don't hate the truck and I appreciate the old school nature of the powertrain, but it's completely outclassed in every way.

Why do they do this? It's ugly black plastic too that fades to a brown/grey color over time.

It looks like it would be broken off if someone parked that F-250 too close to the curb.

Yeah, back when the speed limit was 55, you couldn't stop a loaded trailer with drum brakes and 16" wheels, and had to crawl up hills in 2nd or 3rd gear at 4500+ rpm with smaller, lighter loads because that's as fast as you could go... and that was with a 3/4 ton gas truck. Great memories.

Can you even get those with the standard 6.5ft short bed? I can't stand the look of those trucks that have the tiny bed and the mega super extended oversized cab. Plenty of room in cab is nice, but it damn near defeats the purpose of a truck and may as well get an suv at that point. Would never get a truck with less than the 6.5, and preferably 8.

FoxNews had an article saying that Ford is replacing the 6.2l which is legendarily reliable with a 6.8l. Will keep the Godzilla engine option. And the powerstroke will have bigger turbos. The F350 Dually is supposed to be the payload champ and the F450 will be the Tow King beating the current dodge option at over 37,100lbs..
also their will be options for those seats that lie completely flat to be able to sleep in.
When I replace my current 2015 F250, I’m going with a F350 Godzilla Dually most likely.

IMO that is a mistake. A lot of fleet buyers get the 6.2L, and it has been more reliable than the Godzilla.

Agreed, I think having the gasser options of the 6.2l and the 7.3l are a better lineup.
A new 6.8l could have reliability issues that new owners won’t want to deal with. That’s why the 6.2l is such a great option in the 3/4 Ton class.

The question is, why do you care?

Just because you use yours for work or towing doesn't mean that a huge number of them aren't.

Found the insecure Fbaw-50 owner.

I made a comment on vehicles use, get over it. I can make the same comment about Raptors and Jeeps being mall crawlers, Ferrari's never hitting a track, etc.

thats the thing though...i drive a simple tundra. Guess what most of the time its just a grocery getter but prolly 5-6 times a year i actually do use it for what its made for.

my point was why the hell do you care what someone else drives and what it is being used for? im not the insecure one here.
