Family is all coming to my house. I’m requiring sworn affidavits of 14 days of quarantine prior to coming and 5 consecutive negative tests. We’ll eat 3 people per room and everything will be served with disposable utensils and burned afterward. N95 makes required.

Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Well my parents and my wife's parents agree that they would rather risk it than not see their grandchildren and children for the holidays.

So all of you nazi totalitarians that think you know what is best for everyone else can frick right off.

Nope. Hanging out with the one kid who is coming home for Thanksgiving. Then all of them will be home for Christmas.

Gonna be the first time in a few years that all four of my kids and all my grandchildren will be at the house. My momma and dad will also be attending and those tough old birds beat the shite outta COVID. It's going to be a fantastic day and me and the wife can't wait.

No. Last year my family did not invite me for dinner at my cousins house, so I ate at Piccadilly and called it a day.

We were supposed to do a road trip. But with New Mexico closing, El Paso being a Pitre dish and having a curfew and no telling what JBE is going to do, we decided not to chance being on the road. So we’re going to stay home. Still taking the time off work, though.

We’re going to do some deep cleaning of the house and then put up the Christmas tree and decorate the house. Also going to get all the Christmas shopping done.

So bummed about canceling our trip. We were really looking forward to it.

Parents are divorced. Dad’s side is business as usual. Mom’s side is a no-go.

I’ll leave you to guess their respective politics.

No. Just the 4 of us (wife and kids). It is far more enjoyable for us when family does not visit.

No, we are going out to Marfa. We skipped my nephews wedding today as my wife has been directly exposed to covid but hasn't been tested yet. She is getting tested this week and if she is positive I guess we are staying home.
