I am. Not that any of them will be much good. I've told my SO that I don't want to donate my eyes though.

If not, how come?

Oh and I donated my organ to your mom/sister/wife last night.

Yes. If they need and it's usable, by all means take it to help someone esle. I'm also registered with NMDP and was called recently about donating to a 73 year old man with leukemia. Unfortunately, I wasn't a close enough match to donate.

I've donated my organ to quite a few ladies.

They're occassionaly very appreciative.

I donated my organ to the church and they still use it to this day. Sounds real good.

Weird, I'm the exact same way.
Like take all my organs because I am dead and gone but do not remove my eyes.

Yep, take whatever I have that is still usable and then burn the rest of me and I don't care what you do with it. My body is only a temporary vessel.

They can have whatever they want from me if it helps someone.

I certainly don't need it.

I am not an organ donor. I have an irrational fear that should I be delivered to a hospital and doctors see I am a donor that they will not give their all to save my life.

I give blood though.

That's cool. That's also a painful procedure isn't it?

I used to give blood as often as the RV came to the office. But not so much anymore.

Yeah I'm kinda like "I'll just hold onto those just in case I need them in the after life".

It's very important that you make your next of kin aware of your wishes. Their consent is required, and it happens much too soon for them to be ready to make the decision quite often.

I do hope to be a donor one day.

It's in my driver's license that an an organ donor. At least that's one way you can do it in AL. That's why I had to tell my SO and next of kin about the eyes.
