If it isn't late at night, I go inside. I prefer inside to drive through anyways since it is usually faster

Correct. When I call Cox Cable because of an issue, I have my account # and PIN ready. The CSR on the other end knows I am ready to conduct business and get the issue resolved. No hemming and hawing. Went to Popeyes last week( just wanted a large red beans and biscuts). Two of New Orleans' finest upstanding citizens got to the counter, then started looking up at the menu, like they had never been there before. What should have been a 2 minute stop turned into a 10 minute ordeal of frustration.

I have a social aquaintance (female) who I go out to eat with several times per year in a larger group.
Here’s the way she handles drink order-
Her: “Do you have any drink specials?”
Waiter: “Blah, blah, blah (option 1), blah, blah, blah (option 2), and blah, blah, blah (option 3)”
Her: “What’s your favorite?” or “What’s the most popular?”
I want to throw up.
Who the frick cares what the waiter’s favorite is?
The meal ordering is a variation on that same banal theme.
Jesus god.
As to the OP, I’ll order a duplicate of the person before me to keep the order simpler, I’m not picky.

So usually when someone asks this, you name the most popular and well-loved items. This girl I used to work with was really skinny and usually just ordered a kid's meal post-shift. When people would ask her what her favorite item was, she'd say "kids grilled cheese or kids burger with only ketchup"

Poor salesmanship. Sell them something that costs more than the average drink/entree

Yes, I am an efficient orderer.
I am also a picky eater, so 9 times out of 10 I've looked at the restaurant's menu at home and have a good idea of what I'm getting before I get there.
At dinner last night the waitress actually thanked my husband and I for making the ordering process so easy.
