Agree with your post, but wanted to say as another poster said, competition is healthy, but people have taken it far too personally.

Competition is meant to motivate people to create more, but the idea was never in place to over step the moral grounds that the well being of everyone still matters.

I think we're intetnalizing competition too much. People forget that the people they step on still live in this world. So don't go around making everything and everyone shitty for your own selfish pursuits.

If you back stab one person, you don't think that has an effect on that person regardless if they stab you back or not? Chances are they'll stab someone they feel "superior" towards because they know that person can't stab them back....and it goes down the hierarchy.

Just like scientology. ..

The main scientology guy was said to have beaten scientology people. ...and you don't think that guy on the step below him doesnt do the same thing to the guy the step below him? It's all set in motion by the top. We have shitty people at the top, and the examples they set for others are shitty, but people want to be successful so they follow those examples.

I work in China quite often and while the Chinese are not as spoiled as we are, they have no need for social graces or generally polite behavior.

They will steal your seat, cut a line, sleep on you in a plane! Lol. They only really greet you in the business world, yet there are all of these wierd social rules in place to prevent disrespect, even though no one will bother to smile or tell you hello. Wierd

Weird. I always pictured them being subservient to Americans
