I'm making a lot of assumptions in my example, but let's not act like it's something that's not real and won't happen. What I'm saying it's something that I worry about as he grows older and become interested in dating. I'm almost certain there will come an instance where we will be confronted with this situation and we'll have this discussion. If I had any prejudices inside my character, I wouldn't be living in Mandeville.

none of that is racism except for maybe refusal of service.

why are whites used in this example...I bet more Asian or latino families would be less understanding than whites

At every point in this countries history, when their was a black advancement, there was a whitelash.

It's historical facts.

Again, Obama was president for 8 years. He got elected because a majority of white people voted for him. Those people didn't all of a sudden become racist. There is no "whitelash", there's politician-lash.

They make it worse for themselves.

And now we live in a society where today we are being domesticated..trying to hold our hands, so we are dependant on those in charge. Dumbed down.

Generations will suffer effects of progression because we have to stop often and allow them to catch up.

Its like being late to a destination because you have to constantly pull over and let someone piss. Sometimes you have to piss too, but you can hold it till you get there. They cant.

Those whites?

Because let me break it to you, he didn't win the presidency because of the black vote.

Yes the whites that thought a black president is enough but got butt hurt the min he said a cop acted stupidly or he emphasized with blacks over historical mistreatment by law enforcement/state.

The ones that think black advancement is white regression.

blacks attack white man for voting Trump

Behavior like this is one of the reasons why racism is perpetuated today and will continue to be in the future. Do the people in the video really believe behavior like this does one single thing to promote the decrease of racism and animosity between white and black people? That it does anything at all to effectively represent and relay the message they are trying to portray with the intent to exact any kind of change they see as positive and sincere?

The pack mentality of those that act like those in the video clip is just bewildering to me. Yelling, "YOU gon' pay fo' my shite now!" like one of the females was doing in the background is a perfect example of how some truly seem to believe and embrace the idea that the Caucasian race owes them every single possible thing they will ever need or just frivolously desire in their lifetime. I just can't wrap my mind around that kind of logic.

And the black guy getting in the white guy's car with the apparent intention of stealing it at the end of the video combined with the other behavior displayed seems to suggest that a portion of the AA population is devolving instead of advancing. Sadly this is true of every race that currently resides in America, though.

Those in the video along with those that behave like them are obviously not representative of the entire AA race, though. And it honestly makes me sad for those within the AA community that are a 180 from those in the video because they have to deal with the backlash and fallout of that crowd's behavior as well as from ppl who choose to paint an entire race with a broad brush by judging the whole based off of the actions of a portion.

Likewise, as a Caucasian female, there are people within my race that act equally as despicable and their behavior is bewildering to me as well. I don't understand the motivation behind their actions and what gains they believe are to be had by displaying complete and total ignorance with blatant abandonment of any and all common sense. It's embarrassing to share the same skin color with people like Dylann Roof..not to mention being from the same state as him.

TL;DR: Some people make absolutely no sense to me and never will.

Why is it not believable? Because it doesn't happen to you?

Ok buddy. Until you actually experience it then you'll never know. All that stuff happened solely because of the color of my skin. I guess you would rather call it racial profiling.

I used whites b/c that's the environment where I live and from my personal experiences. Everything I said is based on my experiences.

Always remember, black people and minorities are equally responsible for the American version of racism.

Racism is a problem only whites people can and will fix in this country. Their mess. I think they will after trump. They see the carnage

You live in the integrated south...I don't think life is as bad as you think it is regarding race relations. Imagine living up north where most people are still segregated...yet southerners are the ones labeled racists

It's hard to take someone serious when you start with this

And let's not act like the dating thing is strictly white people. If I was brought home by a black, Asian, or Mexican girl to meet their family, I'm sure I would get a couple of odd looks like where did she find this dude.

I wouldn't call them racists though

Ohhh, so it had nothing to do with the policies over the last 8 years, the regression of the middle class, and healthcare "reform". I see. The same people who voted a black man in the White House....hate him because he's black.

You see the world through black and white my friend, there's no changing that. Carry on with your hate.

So what was his reasoning for stopping you?

I don't believe this one bit.

You realize it's a socioeconomic issue and not a race issue. Most people not matter what race do not like to be around trash no matter what race. Do you understand that?
