Top 20 posters don't do drugs and stay in school. And always believe in yourself.
(Public service announcement they got me doing after the last banning)

Big Tobacco has been planning on legalization happening for about 50 years now. They are probably the most prepared industry in that regard

For the record I think it should be legalized.
But having said that, I’ll also say that marijuana is quite possible the most misunderstood drugs today. On one side you have opponents who mistakenly think it’s a deadly and addictive drug. But on the other side you have it’s supporters who mistakenly think it’s a miracle elixir with abosultly zero drawbacks, risks, or side effects.

My friend got autism from doing weed
He's living a drug-free life with Jesus in Heaven now

Everyone knows the post bowl/blunt cigarette is the GOAT followed by the after dinner cigarette.

Nobody thinks that, that's dumb. But the fact that it doesn't cure cancer doesn't mean it should be illegal.
This is the argument that the DEA is pushing for kratom: "people say it cures opioid withdrawals, there's no evidence that it does so it should be illegal", it's nonsense.

Holy shite. How many marijuanas did they smoke?

Apparently my company does. They still test me for it. I mean I may fall out of office chair one day as an aftereffect of smoking the night before.

bullshite. Anytime anyone says anything remotely negative about pot, the reaction is immediate and visceral.

Guess you were too triggered over me saying something not positive about it to notice I said it should be legal.

Why should it be legal?
That's not how our laws work in this country. We aren't told that it's legal to walk down the street. We're told that it's illegal to, by use of force, prevent someone from walking down the street.
Tell me why it should be illegal.

I want it to be decriminalized just so that frequent users shut the frick up about it.
Posted on 12/28/17 at 10:35 am to Pecker
Well I can name you a few reasons why I don’t want none of that shite; I don’t want to get a hangover from it, I don’t want to get addicted, I don’t want it to make me want to have sex, it sounds kind of expensive... I’m telling you Dewey, you don’t want no part of this shite...

They will take over the industry.
More than half of Registered Republicans support legalization. It's not the people standing in the way.
Most likely the CJ system and prison industrial complex

I'm a supporter and think none of the above is true. I simply don't think it's as bad for you as alcohol; so by that alone it should be legal

Only if you call it "smoking drugs"

Not illegal, but maybe more education for everyone that is centered around truths rather than scare tactics.
Things like mixing alcohol and pot, different strains/potency (which I don't fully understand), and driving situations. In my era, marijuana was taught to be the worst of all of the illegal drugs and I didn't find out until later that it obviously a false narrative.
I'm replying to the poster that complained about slow drivers in the fast lane. Most tokers that I know would be more cognizant of that sort of thing and probably drive around the speed limit in the right lane.

Oh shite, you're right. I went back and re-read our exchange and my triggered state effected my reading comprehension. My apologies.
Even so, your strawman non-argument failed on a bunch of levels and you're a big ole dummy.
The kratom thing is pretty frustrating to read though because they don't have the same pr presence as pot, so nobody calls the DEA out on their bullshite.
