That consider them such a hated, oppressive burden that an entire industry has formed to address this scourge?

I am pretty sure I can't listen to more than 15 minutes of satellite radio without hearing an ad from some company that will help listeners escape from their timeshare and now I am starting to see television commercials.

Da fuq?

I only know one person with a timeshare.

Then again, I know no one who has ever sued the at fault driver in an accident, and that's clearly a very real business.

Yes. A lot of weak minded people who can't say no to hard selling tactics and get stuck with $1000 per year maintenance fees.

It’s really more a ploy for “Big Timeshare” to get more people interested in buying timeshares. You know, the whole “don’t tell me what to do” way of thinking.

But I wouldn’t expect a simpleton to know anything about that.

There’s a sucker born every minute, which means there are 1,440 potential time share buyers born every day.

That company is probably owned by the time share company. Win-win on their part. Time shares are great if you get to use them.

A true alpha purchases a timeshare and then shares with no man.

Actually yeah. HUGE industry on both sides ...the purchasers with bad contracts and terms and those aforementioned companies that help them get out of them

Years ago my wife and I agreed to a timeshare presentation because of the free stuff they offered.

The salesman are sly and aggressive. The tactics they use can be mistaken for logical thinking by those on a strict budget wanting to travel. They're liars and crooks.

Not only was the process abysmal to sit through, the free stuff they gave away was absolutely bait and switch trash.

I’m always surprised when someone tells me they or their parents have a timeshare. There are more than I expected and thought people would have learned by now.
