Left my cell phone at the house earlier and got to wondering. If I had needed to make a call while I was out and about would I have been able to find a working pay phone anywhere?

Just get a burner phone like every other guy who cheats on his wife.

There was one on Catholic High's campus, don't know if it is still there.

I think the only time it ever got used was when that kid called in a bomb threat to get out of a test.

IDK, but I took a picture of one that I noticed was in Harrah's in New Orleans last time I went.

It would have to be a real emergency. It was more of a curiosity thing than a need thing. The last one I recall seeing was in front of a Valero at Airline and Highland but it did not work. Besides that one I just don''t see them anywhere.

There are always a few pay phones - usually in terrible neighborhoods. Also, in hispanic areas, there tend to be pay phones because they will use them to make calls to Mexico.

They also have Baton Rouge with a 504 area code. Very old phone list.

I randomly picked five numbers and dialed them, and only one was "in order."
