The perception of him is very different outside the US. If you go abroad, people still love him and would never believe he did anything wrong. Ever.
Anywhere in the Caribbean or Europe he is still the biggest pop star ever. I have been to plenty of resorts that have Michael Jackson shows and play his music over the intercom constantly

I haven't seen anyone say it was normal or that they didn't have any problem with it. He likely crossed lines that shouldn't have been crossed, but I think there are questions about him actually being a conscious sexual predator of children.
Like others have said, he didn't have an adulthood. Ignorance is a lame excuse for him, but it could be the truth.

What is reasonable? Honestly. Because I've read on numerous outlets that the dad who initially brought all of this up is a a POS and many are now saying none of that occurred. IIRC even some of the kids retracted their accusations.
